| Pamela Kember
is art historian and independent writer. As
a research graduate during the late 1980s she contributed to the Union
catalogue of Art History Source Manuals (16th-18th century)in Oxford College
libraries. (Dept. Art History, Oxford University) . She has lectured for
the Association of Art Historian on emblematic literature. She was previously
at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford,for ten years, before moving to Hong
Kong in 1997. Since that time she has been a freelance writer, reviewer,
and broadcaster on visual art. She has also been contributing editor of
Asian Art News, and World Sculpture News. She regularly contributes reviews/catalogue
essays for contemporary artists from Asia. Currently she is researching
a biography on Chinese cultural critic Li Xianting. She is a member of
International Association of Art Critics (Hong Kong). |
